NetRex is a robust application platform that provides a number of sophisticated cloud services. NetRex cuts the basic cost and configuration barriers in deploying the latest digital camera systems, especially in small and medium-sized businesses. With NetRex services, you have the ability to get top-of-the-line camera surveillance, count or analyze customer behavior, or make it easy to live stream on the internet at a fraction of your actual purchase costs.


In what languages ​​are NetRex services available?

How does NetRex ensure uninterrupted access to my services?

NetRex has powerful servers operated according to the latest industrial and safety standards. With sophisticated control tools and backups we can guarantee availability 99% of time.


How does NetRex ensure the security of my data in the data center?

NetRex experts regularly check security controls and central platform processes. The used data centers are designed for continuous operation and use a range of security protections. From controlled access to a limited number of employees to protection against power and data connection outages.


How are data protected against theft?

NetRex takes maximum care of your data. Of course, you can protect all communication through 256-bit SSL encryption and a password request when accessing any account. This ensures access to authorized system users only.


Is the privacy of my data secured?

Employees of our company or our partners may only access your data if you give them permission in case of service requests or requests for additional system configuration.


Account management

Who is responsible for paying the services?

The relevant account owner is always responsible for paying for the NetRex services. The sums for NetRex services are paid exclusively to NetRex s.r.o. Any service or configuration requirements may be charged by your local partner.


Can I activate other user accounts?

Yes. For each master account, it is possible to define up to 50 subordinate accounts with different authorizations for functions and system parts.


Can I combine different levels of provided service within my account?

Yes. Each camera within the main account may have different levels of service. For example, it is possible to combine surveillance cameras with NetRex Monitor Basic and NetRex Monitor Premium.


Can I change the levels of the provided service?

Yes. Please contact us to upgrade the services.


How can I cancel the provided services?

How many cameras can be connected to a NetRex platform within a single account?

An unlimited number of cameras can be connected to the central NetRex platform within the main account.


Which IP cameras support the NetRex services?

NetRex services are exclusively supported by Axis Communications AB’s IP cameras. For more information, visit the IP Camera page.


Does NetRex support analog cameras?

Yes. Analog cameras can be connected using selected Axis Communications IP video encoders. For more information, please contact us.


What bandwidth does NetRex use?

The required bandwidth depends on several crucial factors. It mainly affects the resolution of the transmitted video, the frame rate and the parameters of the recording. Estimation of the required bandwidth can be performed using the Axis Communications AB Design Tool.


Can I somehow verify the speed of my internet connection?

There are a number of online services to verify speed. We recommend using, for example, Make sure you are on the same network as your cameras. Mainly track the UPLOAD and PING parameters.


Can I save my recordings to my computer?

Yes. A user with the appropriate authorization can download any recording to their computer.


For what and why use local recording equipment?

Setting up a local storage or using the SD card located directly in the camera brings some undisputable advantages. One of them is the ability to store video at maximum quality that would not disproportionately burden the data connection in the given location. At the same time, it saves the record when the Internet connection is inaccessible or unstable.


What happens if I have an Internet connection outage in my location?

In the case of an inaccessible internet connection, the NetRex platform is not able to make live view from cameras at a given location and ensure the recording on remote servers. However, the local storage of recordings on SD cards or NetRex Box is still working in this case.


Is access to NetRex services through mobile devices possible?

Yes. Available mobile apps for Android and iOS are currently available.
