Like most successful projects, NetRex was initially just a daring idea which provoked mild scepticism in the professional world around 13 years ago. It was born in the mind of our founder, David Capoušek, who long had the dream to start a surveillance system business. When he was burgled at the end of 2005, he took it as a sign that he should bring his idea to life. His original idea was to build a company that would sell boxed camera solutions for people to install themselves.
However, eventually, NetRex moved into the retail sphere and introduced the current version of its product – a service which sells and installs cameras for retailers and then takes care of them and the data collected from them. In the first year of operating, NetRex began working with a partner company, Axis, whose cameras continue to be used in their system to this day. The beginning was tough. Trying to convince customers to let an unknown company install cameras and start working in the cloud was, at the beginning of the millennium, something of a superhuman task. Everything worked out though, and one person was able to gradually build a profitable, functioning company with 30 employees and a host of long-term, satisfied customers across the Czech Republic and abroad.
Today we are a young and friendly team who, with enthusiasm and cooperation, can achieve great things. Every day we explore and unearth new possibilities for the deployment of network technologies with the everpresent internet. We can therefore guarantee security, a greater degree of control and increased productivity. Our talented development team and strong working relationship with Axis allows for tailor-made solutions for all of our customers.
