NetRex platform add-on
Expand the functions of the NetRex platform with add-ons that directly correspond to your needs. Monitor the cash register of your store and be informed about any improper conduct.
We will connect the cash register with a surveillance camera. We can do this in two ways, hardware or software. The first solution is suitable for all cash registers, only cash registers operating on the Windows system can be connected by software.
Using a classic HDMI cable, we connect the Kiloview E2 – H.264 HDMI device to the cash register, which is connected to the network simultaneously and then transmits the image from the cash register or its cut-out to the camera.
We will install the freely available ShareX program on the cashier’s computer and set the section from the cashier’s screen that you want to share in the video.
The CamOverlay App is installed on the AXIS security camera. The app embeds the screen of the cash register system in real time into the video output.
Camera recordings with the embedded cash register monitor, without it, or both at once are saved into the recordings feature of the NetRex platform.
The entire solution is built in such a way that it is as simple as possible and at the same time the most affordable. There is no need to purchase any special expensive cash register, expensive hardware or software. Nothing will change at all for the cashier, but you will have access to a live view of the checkout screen.
